Ray
Stockton: "I never wanted to be a healer......"
Since
I can remember I have always been at ease with so called sensative-spiritual
ways, be it with listening to people or making them smile -
helping in any way I can. I suppose the word that comes to mind
is "caring". We are all able to care - to give and
receive. What we are doing is healing in some way. As we are
all different energies, so we heal at different levels. But
what we tend to do is give of our own energy and yet a little
understanding of who and what we are can change us forever.
I
never thought about "healing". I wanted to see 'spiritworld'
and give philosophy. This was not to be. Yet another lesson
learned- as I explain to you how my number one spirit guide
and the spirit world bestowed the gift of healing on me.
Frances
and I both have Chinese guides. My wife's guide is Chi Li and
I am honored to introduce my guide to you - Chow Ming, born
in the 14th Century. He lived some 100 miles south of the Great
Wall. In physical life he was an herbalist/healer.
My
wife and I found ourselves taking a 3 week journey through China,
the homeland of our spiritual mentors. I was informed by Frances
that in a few days while at the Great Wall we would see our
guides. I was so excited. I was going to see my guide!! - and
so having arrived at the Great Wall, the tour party proceeded
to go to the right and climb. We were directed to the left,
to the highest point where there was a lookout post. As we reached
this point Frances said "Look Ray. They are there."
pointing to a spot 20 yards up and along. "Where?"
I said. I could not see. I felt empty, my dream gone. Having
reached the designated place we sat and through Frances I was
told I had been given a robe and a pouch with herbs in it had
been placed around my neck. I accepted the gifts graciously
not understanding their meaning.
On our way back down I asked Frances what was the meaning of
the gifts. She told me I had been given the gift of healing.
I remember saying "Healing, I know nothing about healing.
I don't want to." Of course this was me being selfish.
Until a few days later, having looked deeper into myself I began
to understand all that had gone before and of course this was
the natural step to take. To be given such a gift, the power
of healing - the most wondrous gift given to man. To be able
to help others to heal physically, mentally and spiritually
. And so having accepted, I began that never-ending journey
to which I share with you. Be it knowledge, understanding of
the self, hands-on healing or absent healing I share....
Understanding
Healing
| As
with religion there are also many avenues we may take as
healers. But at the end of the day there is only one energy.
This energy is at hand, within us and around us. This energy,
which suspends us within super universes and is but one
energy, universal, cosmic, spiritual, Reiki, Tao - the name
matters not. As in healing, a healer will learn and use
that rise and fall of this energy to heal. Whatever one
calls it - the rule is the same -- there is only one Energy.

We,
you and, I are energy. We are surrounded with 7 layers of energy
called an aura. Within this aura you stand, and attached to
the physical are 7 major energy centers, called chakras. Each
of these relates to a level in our aura, but also are part of
our physical body feeding our heart, lungs, kidney, etc. I don't
wish to go deeply into how they work - that can be found many
places. But, I would give you the following description given
by my spirit guide Chow Ming to describe the chakra or any energy
centre:
Try
to visualize your own chakras, and take a trip through your
body. You will see a grid made up of various size lines, some
thick and long, some short and thin - a meridian - as used in
acupuncture. The entrance to all of these lines is through the
top of the vortex outside the physical body. Imagine positive
and negative energies being taken in through the vortexes. They
are held in store much like a fly caught up in a spider's web,
imagine all thoughts, and negative emotions stacking up in our
energy field, staying there unable to release themselves, as
like a cobweb, it is strong and durable to all conditions, thus
denying the positive energy to flow through our bodies. The
healer will, through his or her training, acknowledge these
blockages, and begin to unblock them by using a much finer energy
- bringing back balance and a cleansing of the energy field.
I
use meditation and visualization to enhance the healing process,
having attuned with my guide Chow Ming and his circle of helpers.
I become no more than a channel for this divine, universal energy
to pass through me, to be given unconditionally to my client.
We
can also use tools, as in crystals, which contain DNA or colour
which contains a vibration of its own, or sound as in music,
as each vibration is uniquely programmed to vibrate on certain
energy centers.
In
all of this learning process, one must care, and that caring
comes from the heart, the centre which holds the key to our
well-being here on Earth.
